Below is a legend of some names that will come up from time to time in these stories…

Doña Delsy = The owner/founder of the orphanage.  To make it easier, I often refer to her simply as Delsy.
Telma = The lady who owns the hotel where I lived last year and am currently living until I find an apartment.  Dont picture a hotel in NZ.
Tio Massimo = The man from Italy who purchased the land and paid for the house that the kids live in.  Again, to make it easier, I usually refer to him as Massimo.  Tio means uncle.  I actually thought his name was spelled Maximo as thats how everyone pronounces it.
Carol = A lady from Canada who has been helping the kids an awful lot.  She is here in Copan in February.  She is the sort of person that gets things done, and is great at organising things.
Christiane = Carol’s daughter.
Marivel = The mother of 5 children who live at the orphanage with her.  She works there, cooking and cleaning.
Goyita = A lady who works for Doña Delsy at the restaurant (Delsy also owns a restaurant and a finca – large farm with a banana plantation, coffee plantation and more).
Escuela Evangelica los Amigos = A small private school where some of the kids go.  It is located just over the road from Telma’s place.  Usually referred to as simply: Escuela los Amigos.  In the public school system, the teachers protest every other week (pretty much) and so far too often there are no classes.  Cost is about NZ$20 per month per child.

I will add to this over time.  But for now I think these are enough names that may come up in a few stories.
