I moved into my apartment last night. I’ve put some photos up here which arent very flattering. The apartment is actually quite nice, but I think the photos make it feel a little weird. I have moved a few things around (in the kitchen you couldnt open the oven door all the way because it was blocked by the sink), so I think I will take some more photos later on today.
Its been exciting doing the food shopping and buying a few things to cook with etc. I had been looking forward to grocery shopping since I arrived in the country!

Howdy. Apartment looks nice – a step or two nicer than The Shed here? You didn’t show us your bathroom – do you have a shared one?
As for your food – castor oil and dog food?????? Glad to see you got some fresh fruit and veges
Looked like you almost had the ingredients for pancakes. Sing out if you want any basic recipes.
Bye for now, Jo
Hehe, its Olive Oil and Mince Meat! I dont think there were photos of the bathroom but it is in the video – its a private bathroom. The apartment is above a shop and the only way in is through the stairs at the front (which go to the street front, not inside the shop below), so its very private. I actually have some pancake mix! Pancakes seem to be fairly common here – all the shops sell the pancake mix. I am waiting to get some Maple syrup before I use it. I found out a couple of days ago that my oven doesnt work (the stove is fine), so when the oven is fixed I would love some recipes. My friend Carol left me some scone mix (and homemade jam!) which I have been itching to make.
